Two RF positions available from 01-Jan-2022 and 01-Mar-2022 in the laboratory of Prof. Wu Jie at NUS chemistry department:
My group will leverage recent advances in organic synthesis with continued development of engineered continuous-flow reactors to provide new chemical transformations and technologies with relevance to contemporary problems. Our long-term goal is to advance otherwise difficult or ineffective chemical reactions using continuous-flow techniques, as well as to develop new chemical strategies to aid the multistep flow process and drug development process.
We are seeking two highly-driven, creative and ambitious postdoctoral fellows to join us in our efforts to develop sustainable chemistry and drug development.

Requirements
For the RF starting at 01-Jan-2022 onwards, the candidate must hold an internationally recognized Ph.D. degree in medicinal chemistry, and should have proven track record of excellence in experimental research. Candidate with experience and knowledge in organic synthesis and chemical biology is preferred.
For the RF starting at 01-Mar-2022 onwards, the candidate must hold an internationally recognized Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry, and should have proven track record of excellence in experimental research. Candidate with experience and knowledge in photocatalysis is preferred.
Job Scope:
Conducting research project(s) independently, with supervision from PI. Draft at least one grant, and mentor junior students in the laboratory.
Terms of Appointment:
The appointment will be initially for one year with possibility for extensions for an additional 2 years or longer depending on research progress and performance.
Remuneration & Benefits:
Salary range from S$5000 per month. Medical and leave benefits will be provided.
